PathTrio records walks, runs, and rides on iPhone. This page covers setup, permissions, Pro, Apple Watch, and troubleshooting.

Location Setup

  • Allow location access while using the app to record outdoor GPS routes.
  • Enable Always Allow only if you want tracking to continue after the screen locks during an active workout.
  • PathTrio does not record location when no workout is active.

Smart Assist

  • Motion and speed checks can suggest pauses, activity changes, or unusual-speed warnings.
  • Suggestions are optional. You stay in control of the workout type and recording state.

Pro & Apple Watch

  • PathTrio Pro is a one-time lifetime purchase.
  • Pro unlocks export, advanced review features, map style options, Health sync controls, and Apple Watch companion support.
  • Apple Watch support requires a paired Apple Watch.

Data Export

  • Pro users can export workout history as CSV.
  • Individual workouts with route points can be exported as GPX.
